Most modules end in a short knowledge check. Questions come in three shapes: pick one answer, select all that apply, or true / false.
You need to reach the pass mark (usually 70%). If you do not pass first time, you normally get another attempt or two. After each attempt you see your score and can review which answers were right, so you learn as you go.
